Eat Less Meat

5200 gallons of water are required to produce 1 pound of beef. In contrast, 70 gallons of water are required to produce 1 pound of grapes and 23 gallons of water are required to produce 1 pound of tomatoes.

Recycle

It usually requires much less water to produce goods from recycled materials than is does to produce goods from raw materials.
